To everyone in THE ISSUE Consortium: I write this article following the close of THE ISSUE Final Conference in Brussels. It was wonderful to see everyone once again. It was an enjoyable and a fitting way to celebrate what it has meant to be part of THE ISSUE.
H2020, the new framework program for Research and Innovation of the European Commission, has been launched for the period 2014-2020. Among the several opportunities offered to SMEs within this large program, one brand new tool looks particularly promising: the SME instrument.
This year’s edition will focus on sustainability dividends. Participants will analyse how to prevent development ‘fault lines’, and how research can help to address the nexus between the four pillars of social, economic, cultural and environmental sustainability.
To support the preparation of proposals, DG RTD's Transport Directorate of the is organising an Information Day on Monday 2 February 2015 from 9 AM untill 6 PM in the European Commission Charlemagne building, rue de la Loi 170, in Brussels.
